Hi Andy, I know what you mean. Unfortunately I haven't been working with Project Server lately and can't have a look at this further at the moment. But why don't you ask the Project Server newsgroup at http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups... as there are some good people there that might be able to help.
Cheers, Alex.

Alex,
Once you link a document to a task, I've found that it isn't straghtforward to be able to dynamically open the document from the task link. Any suggestions how best to quickly get to the document that is attached to the task?
Thanks,
Andy Novak
University of North Texas

Sergey: This usually happens if the default project template has been modified in an unsupported way. In my experience if the template you are using no longer has the Link Items functionality, then you need to start back with the Microsoft one. You can then gradually add your modifications back in. Unfortunately project workspaces that are already missing this functionality cannot be repaired that I know of.
